Charming set of vintage French country cottage farmhouse style yellow pitchers or water/milk jugs. Vertical ribbed texture, white interior with black rim and handle painted detailing. Really lovely set, elegant but with a grungy edge to it, the essence of French country charm.
Good vintage condition for the age, the middle sized pitcher has a couple of very small faults along the rim (see vertical picture). The glaze on a part of the middle pitcher also appears a little dull and the texture is different to the rest of the jug and the other jugs which have more shine on the glaze (about 1/3 of the surface). Note the painting imperfections on the pitchers that just add to their charm our opinion.
