Super kitsch but amazing lighthouse night light or TV lamp in the style of the classic Vallauris shell lamps (unsigned). This decorated lamp depicts an under the sea cave scene with scaphandered diver, treasure chest, fish and various sea life and plants. The scene lights up with a small lightbulb giving it a magical glow. Estimated to date from the 1960's or 70's.
Very vintage condition, excellent condition of the ceramic lamp structure, no chips, cracks or flaws at all. Only imperfection of note is the homemade electrical tape repair on the wire. It can be repaired by replacing the electrical wire, switch and plug which has been left as is (see photo). Lamp and bulb is in working order, standard EU F type plug.
