Refund Policy


We take care to publish accurate photos and product descriptions with all our products. The vintage products sold at Oddhaus Vintage have been carefully cleaned and reconditioned for sale, but as you can imagine none of the products we sell are new and therefore bear the marks of time and use which add to their charm. We describe the condition of the products and any marks or damage beyond normal vintage use as accurately as possible. Please inspect them carefully and feel free to request more pictures if you're still unsure.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, Oddhaus Vintage will accept the return of the product and refund your purchase. In order to return a product, you must notify us by email within 14 days of your purchase. The item must then be returned to us within 30 days of your purchase. We do not accept unauthorized returns. 

Items customized according to client specifications or sourced and purchased on behalf of and at the request of the customer are not returnable. Gift cards and promo codes are not refundable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it. You will be responsible for the proper packaging and conditioning of the product for return shipping. If your return has been damaged in transit as a result of improper packaging unfortunately we will not be able to offer you a refund. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service for your return. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and unfortunately cannot issue refunds if your return has been lost in transit.

You are responsible for the shipping costs of returning your item for any reason other than the product being damaged or not as described. You can return your order in person free of charge at a pre-agreed location in Luxembourg city.

Shipping Damage

Although we take great care in the packaging and shipping of our product, sometimes accidents do happen in transit. If the package looks damaged please notify the shipping provider upon the receipt of your package and contact us as soon as possible. If there is no obvious damage to the package yet there is damage to the contents please notify us within 3 days as shipping claims need to be filed within 7 days of receipt. You are asked to keep all packaging and damaged items in order to properly file the insurance claim with the shipping provider. You might be requested to provide photographic evidence of the damage. We ask you to follow all shipping damage insurance procedures requested by the shipping provider. If you do not properly follow the insurance procedure and notification delays, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to refund your order. 

Unclaimed & Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to being unclaimed or refused by the customer or undeliverable due to wrong shipping address provided, we will contact you and offer the option of re-sending the item by paying its shipping fee again. Otherwise, we will refund the cost of the product minus the original shipping charge, any return shipping costs we incur, and a flat restocking fee of 15€ to cover handling and restocking expenses. 


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Due to the one of a kind nature of all our products we do not have more than one item in stock unless otherwise noted. Therefore we are not able to offer replacement items for any products purchased through our shop even if they were damaged or lost in transit. If you are not satisfied with your purchase we can offer you a choice of a refund or store credit to purchase another item of your choice.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be issued to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
