Set of 2 upholstered 1960s Eames for Herman Miller fiberglass chairs with white metal "La Fonda" base, cream fiberglass shell with plastic trim and signature Alexander Girard designed fabric. Originally created for the legendary La Fonda Mexican Cuisine restaurant in New York by Eames family friend Alexander Girard, this version features the Eames standard height back rather than the lower restaurant version.
Good overall condition, the original upholstery foam is in good condition and not degraded, though a bit lumpy in spots. Fabric in very good condition with a couple of snags on the seat. Ventilation hole for the upholstery on the bottom missing the plastic cover.
Sold as a set, price for both.
