Modular free standing shelving system / bookshelf /wall unit with black metal feet and medium tone teak finish. Made by MDK furniture (Belgium) in the 1960's inspired by Scandinavian design.
Consists of 4 tall "feet" or shelf brackets and thus 3 shelving sections with open shelves and closed cabinets, including one desk module with integrated lighting (though you might need to replace the lamp support or order a new bulb one from a specialized retailer). The shelves and cabinets are adjustable in height and interchangeable, making it a costumizable and flexible system. The desk cabinet can be used as a standing or sitting desk (we hanged it higher than it would usually be for the photos). Includes 10 shelves, 3 closed cabinets and one desk cabinet.
Good vintage condition, the shelves and cabinets are are in good overall condition but with some scratches and dings consistent with age and use, and a couple of spots of missing veneer on the wall side of the shelves. There's a little oxidation on one of the feet but we can retouch it before sale.
